Welcome to our web site, velotransit.ca (the ”Site”), owned by Velo Transit (“Vélo-Transit ” or “we” or “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes our collection, use and disclosure of information on the Site.

What We Collect

We collect personally identifiable information (such as name, company affiliation, title, e-mail address, and other contact information) through the Site if you choose to provide it to us, such as by submitting a form on the Site or sending us an e-mail.

Visits to the Site are logged in our servers, which record the time, IP address, device operating system, browser information and other technical information, referrer (current, previous, or parent browser page) and the server request.

How We Collect Data

What We Do With This Data

We use the information we collect in any manner reasonably related to the purpose it was provided to us, such as to process and communicate with you regarding your product order, respond to a request for information about our products or to contact a job applicant.

We may also use information we collect in order operate, maintain, enhance, and provide all of the features and services found on the Site, develop new products and services, measure the effectiveness of any promotions found on the Site and to monitor Site usage metrics such as total number of visitors and pages accessed.

We may use collected information to e-mail you promotional information regarding our products and services or have our representatives or affiliates to contact you regarding purchase of Lattis products. Any such e-mails will contain instructions on how to opt-out of receiving such e-mails in the future.

How We Share Data

Personally identifiable information you provide to us through the Site is not shared with third parties, except that all information, including personally identifiable information: (i) may be provided to our representatives, affiliates or service providers who may use the information on our behalf for purposes described in this privacy policy; and (ii) may be stored on servers and facilities provided to us by third party vendors. As one example of a disclosure we may make to a representative, if you submit a request to us to be contacted regarding more information about our products and services, we may pass that request to a third party sales partner for handling.

In addition, any and all information, including personally identifiable information, may be transferred as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, or similar transaction, as well as in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which information could be transferred to third parties as one of our business assets.

Credit Card Information

We do not receive your credit card number or billing information when you make a purchase on the Site. Credit card and billing information is collected and used directly by our payment services provider, Shopify  (http://www.shopify.com). Advertising

We may partner with third party companies that allow us to deliver online advertisements to users who visit our site. This is a common practice called “retargeting.” As such, visiting the Site may cause cookies from such third parties to be downloaded by your browser for such purposes. If you visit the Site and purchase a product after clicking on one of our advertisements on a third party website, we may be able to track the fact that you made that purchase after clicking on that particular advertisement.

We may occasionally update this policy. When we do, we will also revise the “Effective Date” at the beginning of the policy. We will not retroactively apply any material change to our use of collected data to data collected prior to the date of the change without your consent.

Our Site is hosted and operated in and/or controlled from Canada.
